Areas Of Impact

At the core of Heart Of It is the people we serve. Coaching individuals and companies to reach their full potential is our mission.

Leveraging lessons from my own experience living with cardiomyopathy and ultimately surviving a life-saving heart transplant, I am able to provide a supportive and proactive approach to tackling medical challenges. Dealing with long-term diagnoses or emergent short-term critical illnesses, I help people develop a perspective and mental attitude. I believe that patients and doctors are partners in successful outcomes and I am able to prepare patients for their role in this relationship.

A people first approach is the basis for everything Scott deploys in his strategic advisory for businesses.  He leans on the tenants of storytelling, customer defined success, and relationship-led growth to help businesses succeed in the always evolving commercial landscape.  With over 30 years of experience as a sales leader, entrepreneur, and employee, Scott offers a transparent analysis and focused strategic approach to help his clients implement change

Through an insightful process of self discovery I created called "Navigator", I offer a new lens for people to tackle transition in both professional journeys and personal relationships. It is a very thoughtful and introspective analysis that helps individuals discover conviction for their own unique attributes, owning their narrative and ultimately propelling them towards positive growth.

Motivating and empowering audiences, Heart Of It Strategies is rooted in three pillars: gratitude, connectivity, and legacy. With my own unique style, I deliver a fresh perspective on how people can reach their full potential by discovering their unlimited capacity, highlighting the value in manifesting positivity, and honoring the core message of counting every day.

With Navigator, Scott challenged me to rethink my process of transitioning in my career. Throughout my life I've carried several titles that conjure specific stereotypes - soccer mom, coach's wife, executive - and often as a leader, my personal identity gets wrapped into the brand of my company. It's difficult to navigate the communication of my personal traits in such a way that I can speak with conviction about the value I bring.

The Navigator experience was a phenomenal approach to distilling my elevator pitch so I could go from confused to confident. Through the process I learned how to turn my unique strengths into my personal brand and reinforced the importance of embracing the areas where I contribute most.

Going through the Navigator process forced me to sit with my thoughts and create intentions for my life. Instead of floating through space & time, Navigator provides a path to visualize who you are as an individual and gives you the tools you need to really lean in on your strengths. As much as visualization is a key component of the process, so is its structure. With the art of influencing perception, Navigator takes you on a journey of self-discovery and helps you clue in on the most crucial piece of your psyche step by step.

As a congregational rabbi, we bring in a wide variety of speakers to address our congregation.  What made Scott unique was that he addressed a topic that everyone appreciated.  Using his powerful personal story along with historical and religious imagery, Scott inspired the community to get the most out of their lives every single day.  In one presentation, he did what religious leaders attempt to do every week.  He gave everyone hope, motivation, and meaning.
